Production

When we were filming the video, we went to different locations to film. When filming we filmed the outdoor parts first, this was to ensure that we could get the good weather before it started to rain. When it started to rain we then made use of the time and filmed the bits indoors. This was good as this made sure that we were still making good use of the time that we had. This doesn’t challenge the typical conventions of a music video as they would make use of whatever time that they had in order to try and get the job done.

In the video we also got shots of girls laughing and having fun which is like in the video Stay out by Nina Nesbitt, this shows that we are keeping to the typical forms and conventions of a music video as it has been used in previous music videos, the signs popping up and being used to say lyrics is also conventional of a music video as it has been used in other music videos such as Taylor Swifts lyrics video for we are never getting back together.

We used three different locations for the video to be shot and on a typical music video they use the either many locations of minimal locations to film the video. As we used three locations then this would have kept to the typical conventions of a music video, however, to enhance the video we could have probably done with more locations and different camera angles as some of the shots are on the screen for a very long time.
