Audience

Our target audience will be mainly female because our artist is female, so would be less likely to attract a large male audience. Another reason we chose a mainly female audience is because of the nature of the song, a girl being in love with a male figure, which would be more suited to a female audience.
The age range of our audience will be from 16-27 because of the content of the lyrics, such as "Kill the bitch that bats an eye" and "I love you 'til the day I die," we thought it would be more appropriate for a more mature audience. Younger people (under 16's) are typically associated with listening to pop, whereas older people would be less likely to listen to this genre of music.
