Costume
For the hair we chose to do loose curls, and I achieved this look using straighteners and twisting them round each lock
of hair. I then used hairspray to keep it in place whilst filming.
MAKE UP
For the make up in the white dress I used black liquid eyeliner on the eyelids,
creating a space in between which I filled with gold eye shadow and the look
was finished off with false eyelashes to make her eyes stand out on camera. The
lipstick is a bright red which stands out and complements her eye make up.
The darker make up is very similar to the other, except the eye shadow in
the eyeliner gap is a darker purple colour. The lipstick is also a more
purple shade.
CLOTHING
The two dresses, shown here, are to for the two different paces in out music video. The purple dress is for the faster paced chorus "they're coming" part. Whereas the white dress is for the rest of the song.

Digipak so far - technical issues
In my digipak on the three squares that are blank I will be putting some image's on to them. I also will be adding all of the legal parts and the logo as well.
Account change
Due to the fact that someone has tried to hack my old media account I have had to create a new one that I will be posting from, it is still Isabelle Zanker although my posts will now just be from a different address.

Inspiration for digipak images
These are some pictures from a book all about Vogue
front covers. I really like the way that these are bold statement images and also the makeup used on the models. I have taken inspiration from these as I think that they are bold statement images and I think that I would like to use a bold statement image on my album cover. When I come to o my album cover I think I am going to use two different images of the same person but possibly in different outfits looking the side, but, making sure that it is an interesting and bold image.

Digipak ideas
I have drawn out a sort of mock up sketch of what I want one of the inside panels to have on it. I took inspiration from the Alice In Wonderland swirls. I think that velvet elvis would look good in a font that's going in a swirl and the font getting smaller and smaller the further you get to the centre.

TrackListing - Digipak
I have thought up the different names for the track listing on the album. I went with kind of a quirky theme to go with whats going on in the music video and the style of the artist that we are going with. The names are as follows ;
Velvet Elvis
Mirrored
Butterfly Eyes
Like it's lost
In the streets
Violey spy
Your picture frame
Bold - faced silence
Black dice
Lightyears.

Digipak inside left idea
I have decided that for the inside left panel for the digipak I will put the name of the album cover on it going in a swirl getting smaller and smaller in size. I have been inspired by this picture to do this as I feel as though the swirls in it are effective and quirky for the video.

Inspiration for the digipak
Here is the image that I think will inspire my digipak idea.
I think that this image is vintage and also inspiring because of the fact that its abstract. The fact that its quirky and abstract fits with the theme of the song, album and artist.
Another Digipak Idea
I have now had another idea for the digipak which I think will work better with the theme of the vintage style and also the quirkiness. I feel as though this will be more abstract as well for the song and will fit with the digipak.

Font Ideas
Respective
I like this font as it is a vintage style and would contrast well with the crazy style of the artist in the video.
It would suit my digipak if i went for a more ornate design.
Beyond Sky
This font is a more alternative style and it could illustrate how our artist has lost her mind within the video.
Penelope Anne
This is a more straightforward font design, and would stand out on the digipak. It would be more suited to
a simpler theme on the digipak.
Kiss Me Quick
The font is a handwritten design and would add a more informal and personal touch to the digipak. The letters
are sketched out so the font would be suited to an informal style digipak, with hand-drawn artwork.
Janda Swirly Twirly
This font is very feminine and has unusual detailing on the capital lettering that contrast the simple lower case letters.
A more ornate vintage style digipak would be suitable for this font.
DK Kundalini
I like this font as it is an unusual design and is different to fonts on albums that I have seen. It is also artistic so would
appeal to the Creatives branch of the audience.
Digipak Ideas
For the Digipak I have a few different concepts that I could explore. I would like to do an ornate and alternative vintage-style design to go with the theme of the music video, or a design to do with shadows and silhouettes. Another rout to explore is the hand-drawn or painted artwork for the digipak and poster, as this is a theme I found among lesser known artists in my post on album covers.
Some Font Ideas
I really think that thus font would go well with the idea of the vintage theme/ quirkiness being taken into consideration for the use on my digipak .
This is the inverted version of the font and I think that this ould look good for a bright/ bold design

Ideas for Digipak - Photos
I am thinking of a bold image for the front of the digipak cover as I think that it will be striking. I have been looking at the book Vogue Covers as they have a lot of bold or striking images of faces which will help to inspire what I am doing.

Ideas for digipak
I have two ideas for the digipak that I am thinking of doing. I am thinking either going down the vintage route which goes with the music video and the style of the artists voice or I am thinking of going with a neon style on a black background due to the fact that we are hoping to have the artist having sections of the music video in glow in the dark stuff with lip syncing. I am thinking of the glow in dark one having the artist Sammy holding up the title of the digipak.
